Tea Tree Growing Conditions

Tea trees prefer a warm, humid environment with evenly distributed rainfall. The soil requirement is well-drained sandy loam. The light should not be too strong or too weak. The main producing areas are in the provinces south of the Yangtze River in my country.

Tea trees have a wide range of adaptability to the environment, with the most suitable growth temperature being 10-35°C. The plant's cold resistance is relatively poor, and its growth will stop when the temperature drops below 8°C.

Tea tree growth period and process

Tea trees are widely planted in various regions of the country. Wild varieties are mostly found in mountainous areas of provinces south of the Yangtze River. The peak growth period is spring and summer, and a cycle is about 4-5 months.

Tea tree is a perennial plant. Generally, it can benefit for a hundred years after being planted once. Its growth goes through several stages, including bud stage, childhood stage, adult stage, and aging stage.

Tea tree planting process and methods

1. Prepare the soil: Before planting tea trees, you need to choose a piece of fertile land, then turn over the soil and add some fertilizer as base fertilizer.

2. Sowing: For tea tree planting, you can dig sowing holes according to the row spacing of 20*10 cm, and then sow healthy seeds into the holes, sow 2-3 seeds in each hole, then fill it with soil, cover it with straw, and wait for the seeds to germinate.
