Shanghai Green Planting Method and Steps

Shanghai green is suitable for planting in well-drained, loose, fertile soil rich in organic matter. It can be mixed with forest soil, humus soil, pond mud and fine sand. In order to enhance the nutrients in the soil, a small amount of organic fertilizer can also be applied to the soil.

3. Pest control: Common diseases and pests of Shanghai green include leaf blight, downy mildew, aphids and cabbage loopers. It is necessary to strengthen field management and spray pesticides in time for prevention and control. Generally, Bordeaux mixture or carbendazim can be used for prevention and control. For aphids and cabbage loopers, dichlorvos or malt emulsifiable concentrate can be used for spraying.
