When planting the money tree, sufficient base fertilizer is needed. Usually fermented cake fertilizer is chosen, and the fertilizer should be applied to the bottom of the pot.

Preparation method of money tree flower soil

1. Soil preparation: The soil for Money Tree generally uses peat soil or leaf mold as the main matrix, combined with garden soil, river sand and perlite. The pH should be kept between 6-6.5. Such soil is loose and fertile, and can also retain water and fertilizer.

2. Changing the soil: Before planting, remove the money tree from the original pot, trim the roots of the money tree appropriately, prepare a new pot of suitable size for the money tree, and plant the money tree in the pot. During the acclimatization period of the money tree, pay attention to ventilation and light avoidance.

Money tree flower soil maintenance

1. If there are bugs in the soil of the money tree, you can put a few electric mosquito coils on the soil of the money tree pot. If you water and manage it normally, the bugs will disappear automatically. If there are bugs in the soil of the money tree pot, it means that the fertilizers applied are not well decomposed. You should pay attention to using well-decomposed fertilizers in the future.

2. The soil of the money tree should be changed once every one to two years. When the soil becomes compacted, the soil should be changed. Some old roots of the money tree should be removed, and then the soil in the pot should be loosened.

3. Wood ash can be used for money tree. Wood ash has a fine and smooth texture, has a certain drying effect and is relatively clean. It does not have any hidden germs. It is a very good fertilizer and disinfectant, but it should not be used too much.
