Niu Dali's growth environment and conditions

Rhizoma Coptidis often grows in grass on hillsides and in deep mountain valleys. It has a wide distribution range in China and is cultivated in Hainan, Fujian, Taiwan, Guangxi, Guangdong, Hubei, Hunan, Guizhou, Jiangxi and other places.

Growing conditions of Niu Dali

Niu Dali likes an environment with plenty of sunlight, is not shade-tolerant, and is suitable for growing in semi-shade. It is advisable to choose low-latitude warm and humid areas in tropical and subtropical areas, with an average annual temperature of about 20°C, rainfall of more than 1000 mm, sufficient sunshine, convenient water supply, and flat and gently sloping land without water accumulation as gardening sites, especially slightly acidic sandy loam with deep, moist soil, rich humus, and good drainage.

Temperature for growing cattle

Niu Dali likes a warm climate environment. If the temperature is low, it grows very slowly and its overall development is slow. Generally speaking, the annual average temperature in places suitable for its growth is not lower than 17 degrees.

The growth process of Niu Dali

The growth process of Niu Dali mainly includes planting seedlings, maintaining seedlings, preventing insects and pests, and flowering. Seedlings will grow after sowing, and they will grow slowly if they are carefully maintained. Provide sufficient water and certain light conditions, and prevent diseases and pests in time, and the plants will bloom.

Planting time and method of Niu Dali

Niudali is suitable for planting in spring. Before sowing, the soil needs to be renovated, deep plowed, harrowed, weeds and stones removed, the soil plowed to a depth of 0.5 meters, and sufficient base fertilizer applied. After sowing, it needs to be covered with agricultural film, preferably black film.

During the seedling stage, the herb needs more water and needs to be watered frequently to keep the soil moist, but it is not tolerant to waterlogging. The water must be drained in time during the rainy season, and no water should accumulate in the furrows. Therefore, when choosing a planting site, as long as it is not a paddy field, it is generally suitable for planting.
