How to breed succulent Kirin

The succulent Kirin, also known as Kirinle, belongs to the Crassulaceae family. It is cultivated in various parts of my country and is an ornamental plant.

When propagating, the cutting method is generally used, which is carried out from April to October. Relatively strong branches need to be used, and roots will generally take shape in about a month.

How to cultivate succulent Qilin

The succulent Qilin prefers a warm growing environment and is not very cold-resistant. During the maintenance period, Xuyi has sufficient sunlight and its drought resistance is relatively good. In winter, the temperature needs to be kept above 15 degrees. When planting, loose and fertile soil is generally used, which is more beneficial to its growth.

Watering method

The succulent Qilin is relatively drought-resistant, so when watering, you need to follow the principle of "better dry than wet". Usually, you should wait until the soil is relatively dry before watering to avoid water accumulation.

Fertilization method

The succulent Kirin does not need to be fertilized very often. It generally needs some fertilizer during the growth period. You can use some decomposed alum fertilizer water. Be careful to avoid using concentrated fertilizer when fertilizing.

Pruning methods

The succulent Kirin needs to be pruned in a timely manner, usually after its leaves fall. Some thin branches need to be cut off, which can reduce nutrient consumption and be more conducive to growth.

Precautions for breeding succulent Qilin

When caring for the succulent Kirin, you need to pay attention to the fact that it must have sufficient sunlight at normal times, and water it appropriately, generally 1-2 times a week. In winter, you need to reduce watering to avoid water accumulation.
