Cultivation method of duck palm tree

Schefflera is a large evergreen tree. There are generally two ways to propagate it, namely cutting propagation and division propagation. When performing cuttings, you need to use branches with better growth. They will take root about one month after planting. Division propagation grows faster than cuttings because its root system is well grown.

When the Schefflera is growing, it needs sufficient sunlight and a good ventilation environment. The temperature needs to be kept between 15-25 degrees at normal times. In winter, the temperature cannot be lower than 5 degrees. When planting, loose, fertile and well-drained soil is generally used.

Watering method

Schefflera prefers a humid environment, but it is also relatively drought-resistant, so water it in moderation. Try to keep the soil moist at normal times, and avoid water accumulation when watering.

Fertilization method

The Schefflera needs to be fertilized in moderation at ordinary times. During the summer growing season, it needs to be fertilized once a week. Nitrogen fertilizer can be used. From April to September, a thin layer of fertilizer can be applied once a month.

Precautions for breeding of Schefflera

When caring for the Schefflera japonica, you need to pay attention to the appropriate temperature environment at normal times. In winter, it is best to move it indoors for maintenance. When watering, you need to do it in moderation to avoid water accumulation, and it also needs sufficient sunlight at normal times.
