illumination

Crane is a light-loving plant. When it is grown indoors, it needs to be placed in a sunny place such as a windowsill or balcony, and the position of the flowerpot should be changed frequently. If the maintenance environment is dark, the leaves of Crane will turn yellow easily.

temperature

Under normal circumstances, the suitable growth temperature for crane plant is about 20 degrees during the day and about 10 degrees at night. Room temperature above 5 degrees can make crane plant grow normally. When the room temperature is low, the flowering period can be extended, but the flowering is slow. When the room temperature is high, the flowering is fast, but the flowering period is short.

Watering

Fertilization

Craneleaf is a fertilizer-loving plant. When planting, you can choose sandy loam rich in humus. Change the potting soil once a year. Apply diluted potassium dihydrogen phosphate once each during the peak growth periods in spring and autumn. Do not apply high-nitrogen fertilizers.

prune

During the growing season of the cranesbill, dense, leggy and some weak branches need to be pruned away. After it finishes blooming, the remaining flowers and flower stalks need to be cut off, and the dry leaves need to be removed. Finally, the diseased and insect-infested leaves need to be pruned away.

Precautions for breeding cranes

Crane plant is a fertilizer-loving plant. Fertilizer can be applied once every half a month during the growing season, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate should be applied within half a month during the flower bud differentiation period. It likes a humid environment, but cannot tolerate waterlogging. Watering should be appropriate, which can be done by soaking the bottom of the pot.
