One leaf can fill up a pot, don’t buy these 5 kinds of flowers no matter how cheap they are!

Money Tree

Cutting steps

1. Pick healthy leaves from the money tree, keep the petioles, and then disinfect them with carbendazim;

2. Prepare loose, fertile, well-drained and breathable nutrient soil in the flowerpot, and insert the leaves obliquely into the soil;

3. Place the flower pot in a cool and ventilated place indoors for maintenance. Generally, it will take root after 1 to 3 months.

4. When new buds sprout from the leaves, start re-potting the plant and add a little nitrogen fertilizer or compound fertilizer to the soil.

5. After the plant takes root, it can be maintained normally. When watering, make sure the soil is completely dry before watering. It is better to keep the soil dry than wet. When the temperature rises, spray the leaves with water every day.

Tiger Piranha

Cutting steps

1. Select a section of strong and thick snake plant leaves, cut about 5-7 cm, soak it in potassium permanganate solution for disinfection, and then place it in a cool place to dry for a day;

2. Insert the leaves obliquely or vertically into loose soil mixed with sand and gravel, with a cutting depth of 3-4cm, and then water thoroughly once;

3. Place the flower pot in a well-lit and ventilated place, keep the soil slightly moist, and do not water too much. It will take root in about a month.

4. After the new buds grow out, transplant them into pots. Place them in a place with diffuse light for a week and then pour a small amount of water along the edge of the pot. Avoid water accumulation in the pot, which will cause root rot. After successful potting, just maintain it daily.

Kalanchoe

Cutting steps

1. Cut off the healthy green leaves at the top of the Kalanchoe branches, keep four leaves, and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry;

2. Mix nutrient soil, coconut brick soil and perlite in a ratio of 5:3:2;

3. Insert the leaves into the flowerpot, water it thoroughly once, and then place it in a diffuse light place indoors for maintenance;

4. Pay attention to water control after germination, as excessive water can easily cause stem rot.

Epiphyllum

Cutting steps

1. Cut old leaves that are more than two years old, 10-15 cm long, and place them in a cool place to dry. Note that larger wound areas are more likely to take root;

2. Insert the leaves shallowly or obliquely into the garden soil mixed with sand, the depth is generally 1~2cm, as shown in the following figure:

3. After the cuttings are successfully grafted, spray a little water every 3 to 4 days. Do not water frequently. Keep the soil semi-dry. The roots will take about a month.

3. After 2 to 3 weeks of rooting, you can pot it. Be sure to pot it together with the soil around the leaves. Water it after 2 days, and then carry out daily maintenance.

Sedum succulent

Cutting steps

1. Choose succulent plants of the genus Sedum, such as Black Prince, Huangli, and White Peony, which have a higher success rate;

Gently shake off the healthy leaves, making sure to keep the growth point of the leaves close to the roots, and then place them in a diffused light to dry.

2. Prepare a shallow-bottomed, wide-rimmed flower pot, and mix the soil in the ratio of peat: vermiculite: rice husk ash: perlite = 1:2:1:1, keeping it slightly moist;

3. Place the leaves flat on the soil or insert them diagonally into the soil. Don't put them too deep, just enough to keep them stable. Then place them in a place with scattered light.

4. It will usually take about 10 to 15 days to take root. Note that you cannot water it before it takes root and sprouts. You can spray water into the air to keep it moist. After it takes root, water it with a small amount of water every week, and repot it after the growth is stable.
