How to grow golden leaf pine

How to grow golden leaf pine

1. Breeding environment

1. Light: In spring and autumn, place it in a sunny and ventilated place. In summer, young seedlings need to be shaded in time and cannot withstand direct sunlight at noon, but can be exposed to the sun at other times. Move it indoors for maintenance in winter.

2. Watering: It likes dryness and is afraid of moisture. Do not water it excessively. You can spray water on the leaves frequently. In spring and autumn, water the plants every two days. In summer, when the temperature is high, water the plants once every morning and spray them once in the evening. In winter, reduce the amount of watering to once a week and spray them more often.

3. Fertilization: It almost does not require fertilizer for its growth. Generally, fertilization 2-3 times a year is enough. Among them, cake fertilizer should be applied once before germination in early spring. If the temperature is too high in summer, stop fertilizing. In autumn, from September to October, apply cake fertilizer once, and stop after October.

2. Common pests and diseases

If not properly maintained, it is easy to be infected with diseases. Such as leaf blight, pine leaf fall, scale insects, pine tip borer and so on. If leaf blight and pine leaf fall are found, remove them immediately. If you find pests such as scale insects and pine borers, you can use DDT to eliminate them.
