Cactus seed propagation

Sow the cactus seeds evenly on the potting soil, water them appropriately, then place them in a dark place and maintain the temperature at around 20℃. When the seeds develop into seedlings, they can be transplanted for the first time.

Hydroponic cactus propagation

The formed cactus should be grown in water using the root washing method. Its fleshy stem is heavy, so it should be grown in thick and stable glass containers with water. The container also needs to be cleaned frequently to prevent the breeding of bacteria. Change the water every 7 days in summer to keep the water clean.

Cactus breeding precautions

After cutting the cactus cuttings, it should be noted that they cannot be planted immediately. They need to be dried in the sun for a few days and then planted after the nodes heal. Moreover, the cuttings should not be planted too deep. It is appropriate for the base of the cuttings to slightly enter the substrate.
