How much base fertilizer should be added to peony

Generally speaking, three to four thousand kilograms of high-quality organic fertilizer are needed as base fertilizer per acre of peony, and 50-60 kilograms of triple compound fertilizer are also needed as base fertilizer.

How to apply base fertilizer to peony

In the second year after planting peony, top dressing should be applied 3-4 times a year. The first time is in March, applying 1,200 to 1,500 kg of human and animal manure per 667 meters. The second and third times are in May and July respectively, applying 1,500 to 2,000 kg of human and animal manure per 667 meters, and adding 20 kg of cake fertilizer. The fourth time is in November-December, applying 2,000 kg of human and animal manure.
