Raspberry growth environment conditions and requirements

Raspberry is native to the United States and is also widely distributed in my country. It is mostly found on hillsides, stream banks, valleys, etc. below 2,200 meters above sea level. It likes a warm and humid growing environment. It is a positive plant with a very strong adaptability to the environment.

Raspberry growing temperature

Raspberry does not have high temperature requirements. The optimal growth temperature is 10-25℃. It begins to sprout when the temperature is above 7℃. The plant is also extremely cold-resistant and is not afraid of freezing. It can withstand temperatures as low as -25℃.

Raspberry Growth Humidity

The growth of raspberries requires a certain air humidity. During the fruit harvest period, the relative air humidity should be above 70%, and the annual rainfall in the planting area should be around 500-1000 mm.

Raspberry growing soil

The roots of raspberries are shallowly distributed. They prefer deep, loose, organic-rich soil. The pH value of the soil should be between 6.7 and 7. Good irrigation conditions are necessary in arid areas.

Raspberry growth cycle and process

Raspberry is also called seedling bubble and March bubble. Spring is the vigorous growth period of the plant. The top flower of the plant blooms first, and the flowering period lasts about a month, but a single flower will not bloom for more than 36 hours. After flowering, it begins to bear fruit, and the fruit growth period is about 15-30 days.
