During the growing period of Baifeng Succulent, fertilizer can generally be applied once a month. The fertilizer can be diluted cake fertilizer water or special fertilizer for succulents. The fertilizer liquid should never be poured onto the leaves.

1. Soil

When caring for Baifeng succulents at home, the potting soil can be prepared by mixing peat soil, coarse sand and vermiculite in a ratio of 5:3:2, or you can add some vermiculite to ordinary soil to make potting soil.

2. Lighting

The leaves of the White Phoenix succulent are green initially, and will turn red if there is sufficient light, making it more ornamental. When grown indoors, it should receive sufficient light in spring, autumn and winter, and full sunlight if conditions permit.

3. Temperature

The most suitable growth temperature for Baifeng Succulent is 18-25℃. It is not cold-resistant. In winter, people should move the plants indoors and control the room temperature above 0℃. In addition, the summer temperature should not exceed 35℃.

4. Watering

Baifeng succulent is more resistant to drought, so do not water it too much, just an appropriate amount. Generally, water it every 15 days in spring and autumn, and once every 3 days in summer. Do not water it when the temperature is below 5℃, otherwise it will cause root rot.

5. Fertilization

Baifeng succulent does not require much fertilizer. It only needs to be applied with diluted cake fertilizer water once every month. The plant is in a dormant state in winter and no fertilizer is needed.

Precautions for the maintenance of white phoenix succulent

Although the white succulent plant loves light, it cannot be exposed to strong sunlight, otherwise its leaves will gradually wither and cause it to die, so sun protection work needs to be done every summer; in addition, the white succulent plant cannot be allowed to grow in the shade for a long time, otherwise it will cause the white succulent to grow too tall, seriously affecting its ornamental value.
