1. Prepare flower soil

When planting rose cuttings, you need to use soil with good air permeability, as this will help the cuttings to take root at the bottom. So before proceeding, you need to prepare some flower soil like this. Specifically, soil made by mixing coconut husk and perlite in equal proportions can be used. In addition, the soil needs to be disinfected before use to reduce the chance of the cuttings getting sick.

2. Prepare the branches

Choose a relatively sturdy mother plant, then select the branches with better growth from it and cut them off. After that, you need to trim it, cut off the leaves on the upper part, and cut the bottom at a 45° angle, so as to increase the area where it can take root.

3. Take cuttings

Put the soil into the pot and poke some holes in it with chopsticks. Then dip the bottom end of the branch into the rooting water and insert it into the hole. Use your hands to gather the soil around the hole and press it down slightly to fill it up so that the branch can stand upright. After that, water it once and place it in a place with diffuse light to slowly maintain it.

4. Waiting for rooting

During the maintenance period, pay more attention to the situation in the pot. If you find signs that the soil is drying up, water it in time. After about 10 days, it will be able to take root.
