Cyclamen hydroponic method

Choosing a hydroponic vessel

You can choose the container for hydroponic cyclamen according to your preference, but you must choose a container that suits the size of the plant. It can be glass or plastic.

Preparing hydroponic plants

To grow cyclamen hydroponically, you must first prepare the plants. The cyclamen flower pot and the soil should be turned upside down from the pot, and then gently rinsed with the faucet to clean the roots and stems. Alternatively, you can place the plant with soil in a basin of water, wash off the soil, and then rinse it again with tap water.

The cleaned plants can be placed in a cool and ventilated place to dry until they are completely dry.

Carry out hydroponics

Then you can add water to the prepared container, and then put the dried cyclamen directly into the container;

Also, make sure the water level is below the root bulb. If the water evaporates, you can add water to the container 1-2 times a week to restore the water level.

Note that you should also change the water every two or three weeks to keep the water free of bacteria, debris, etc. The temperature of the new water should be close to the indoor temperature at that time, generally between 10℃ and 20℃

Water quality for hydroponic cyclamen

The most important point is what kind of water to use for hydroponics:

You can use tap water, but you have to dry it in the sun for a while beforehand. You can also use water that contains nutrients, but don’t let it contain any other debris.
