1. Division method

1. Before division: Before the formal start of reproduction, control the amount of watering and keep the substrate slightly moist. After this treatment, the plant is easy to remove from the pot, and the roots become soft and not easily broken.

2. Mother plant selection: The first requirement is health, and the second requirement is vigorous growth.

3. Treatment of the mother plant: After selecting the mother plant, take it out of the pot, place it on its side on the ground, and then clean the mud off the roots. Afterwards, trim away any dry leaves and rotten roots. Do not harm the remaining roots and shoots in the process. After pruning, clean the roots with clean water, and be careful not to use too much force.

4. Division steps: After processing, you can divide the plants. Divide the mother plant into seven to ten sections. After dividing, disinfect them with Benomyl first, place them in a cool, ventilated place to dry, then apply wood ash on the roots before planting.

2. Seeding method

1. Seed selection and processing: Spring orchid seeds are very small, so you can choose the fuller seeds grown in the current year. After selecting, they must be sterilized for fifteen to twenty minutes before sowing.

2. Sowing and subsequent maintenance: After sowing the seeds, the temperature should be between 20 and 25 degrees. The humidity is controlled at 60 to 70 percent. After three months, the seeds will germinate. After two or three leaflets have grown, they can be transplanted.
