Brother Li never buys nutrient solution when growing lucky bamboo. He just uses these two kinds of water, and the branches can’t be stopped from growing!

Now the plants with good meanings on the market are nothing more than the money tree, the happiness tree, the lucky bamboo, etc. Huahua knows a flower friend named Brother Li who particularly likes to grow lucky bamboo. When taking care of it, he never buys nutrient solution, but just waters it with two kinds of water he made himself. What a great effect! The branches are soaring upwards!

Lucky bamboo means "wealth and fortune", so many flower lovers place it at home. There are two ways to maintain lucky bamboo, one is hydroponics and the other is soil cultivation, but relatively speaking, the maintenance effect of hydroponics will be better. Now Huahua will introduce to you these two kinds of water made by Brother Li. They are really useful for growing lucky bamboo!

1. Willow Branch Water

We all know that willow branches are common on the roadside and have extremely strong growth capabilities. The acidic substances it contains can promote growth. We can collect some to grow flowers and make a solution to promote rooting and germination. Whether you use a little bit when grafting or use it directly as culture water, it can make lucky bamboo grow vigorously.

The process of making willow water is very simple. We first remove the leaves of the collected willow branches, trim them into small sections of about 8 cm, then put them into water to wash and dry them. This is done to remove dust and bacteria on the surface of the willow branches. The next step is to put the willow branches into a sealed container, pour in water, and wait for fermentation. After filtering out impurities from the fermented willow branch water, we can use it to grow lucky bamboo.

2. Aspirin tablets

Aspirin is a common household cold medicine that has good therapeutic effects and is inexpensive. Aspirin contains a large amount of salicylic acid, which can promote the growth of plants. Naturally, it is very suitable for growing lucky bamboo.

When we use aspirin, we need to grind it into powder, then add water and stir to mix it into a solution. The prepared aspirin aqueous solution can be used to spray on the surface of lucky bamboo leaves, or it can be used as a matrix to maintain lucky bamboo.

When growing lucky bamboo in water, you should pay attention to changing the water every 4 days if it has not taken root. If it is a mature lucky bamboo, you only need to change the water once every half a month. In addition, when growing lucky bamboo hydroponically, it is enough to use one-third of the water in the vase.

Use the above two kinds of homemade water to maintain lucky bamboo, you will no longer need to buy any nutrient solution, and it will grow naturally and vigorously. Flower lovers who like it can try it. If you have any good methods to care for lucky bamboo, please leave a message to tell Huahua!
