Cultivation methods and precautions of kumquat trees

Cultivation methods and precautions of kumquat trees

1. Breeding methods

1. Temperature: It prefers a warm environment, and the best temperature is between 22-28℃. Keep warm in winter, but the temperature should not be too high. If it is too high, it will not be able to enter a dormant period, which will affect its flowering in the second year.

2. Potting soil: When choosing soil, it should be acidic soil and also loose sandy soil. It can be made by mixing leaf mold and sand.

3. Watering: It likes water more. During its growing period, it needs sufficient water. The soil cannot be too dry and must be kept moist. However, waterlogging must not be a problem.

4. Fertilization: It has a large demand for fertilizer and the requirements are also strict. Use fermented fertilizer, and pay special attention in summer to fertilize regularly, otherwise it will affect the flower buds. Apply once a week.

2. Precautions

Alkaline soil must not be used, as it will be detrimental to plant growth.
