Flowers at home love to attract "bugs". Let me teach you a trick to easily repel insects without using pesticides!

Generally, people who have been growing flowers for a long time will encounter this problem. The leaves of the flowers are full of small insects. If they are grown outdoors, it is okay to just spray them with pesticides to kill them. But when growing them on the balcony, the pesticides have a strong smell and contain toxins. How can we completely get rid of the insects? Huahua has a few tips, I hope they can help those of you who are worried about insects!

Generally, different insects require different treatment methods. Today, Huahua will take 3 insects as examples to tell you how to repel insects!

1. Red spider

Red spider mites are a common pest of plants and flowers. As long as you don't open the windows for ventilation in time when growing flowers at home, the red spider mites will begin to "spread". Red spider mites usually grow on older leaves first. However, because they are very small, they are not easy to find when they first appear. At this time, we need to carefully observe the back of the leaves. If various black, white and red dots appear, then the flowers are definitely infested with red spider mites!

If the red spider mites are only concentrated on a few leaves for the time being, then you should quickly remove the leaves that have attracted the insects to prevent them from spreading further. If there are a large number of insects, you can make some chili water. Chili water is very irritating. Spray it on the leaves several times a day and even the red spiders can't stand it. You can also use water flushing method, place the leaves under the water flow and rinse them until all the insects are washed away.

2. Whitefly

Whitefly is different from red plants. It is a flying insect that likes to stay on the leaves of plants and flowers to release toxins. To deal with this stubborn pest, we need to use garlic water.

The specific method is to mash the garlic at home into minced garlic, then dilute it with water and filter out the residue. Put the diluted garlic water into a spray bottle and spray it on the leaves that attract insects several times a day. Over time, you will find that the whiteflies slowly disappear.

3. Scale insects

Scale insects are insects that attract many potted plants and flowers. They look very disgusting, stick together in clumps, and are very harmful. Generally, succulent plants attract more of them. This is when we can ask alcohol to help.

Alcohol has bactericidal and disinfecting effects. After diluting it with water, it can be used to wipe the leaves that have attracted insects, which can have a good repellent effect. If you don’t have alcohol at home, you can use vinegar instead. Vinegar can not only repel insects but also promote the growth of leaves.

If your flowers and plants are also attracted by these three types of insects, you can try the above method, which can be very effective without spraying pesticides! If you have any better methods to repel insects, please leave a message for Huahua in the comment section!
