Under normal circumstances, if you see its leaves curled up, this is a sign of lack of water; or if you touch it with your hands and feel that its leaves are much softer than before, and the color of the leaves is not as bright as before, this is also a sign of lack of water. When there is enough water, its leaves will be very plump and moist, and its color will be very bright.

If you encounter the above situation, you should start to water the air plant. If you increase its moisture by spraying water, it will soon return to normal. However, excessive watering can easily cause its roots to turn black and rot.
