When to plant corn

1. Shandong region

In Shandong area, spring corn is usually planted in early April. Because spring corn is planted early and has a longer growing period, the yield is relatively high and it can usually be harvested in late August or September.

2. Northeast China

The spring corn planting time in the Northeast region is generally around Grain Rain, which is around April 20, and can be harvested around October.

3. Hebei Province

In Hebei Province, corn is divided into spring corn and autumn corn. Spring corn is generally sown in late April or early May and can be harvested in late August; autumn corn is generally sown before mid-July and can be harvested in late October.

4. Southern Region

Spring corn in southern regions is generally planted from late March to early April and can be harvested around early July.
