How are watermelon seeds grown?

1. Select seeds

When selecting seeds, soak them in clean water. The watermelon seeds that float up are bad and unqualified, while the watermelon seeds that sink in the water are plump and healthy and good watermelon seeds.

2. Preparation before sowing

Soak the selected watermelon seeds in clean water for 12 hours. When the watermelon seeds swell slightly, it means that they are in a state of development. Prepare a container, put 2 to 3 layers of gauze in the container, then pour in clean water until the water level covers the gauze, spread the watermelon seeds flat on the gauze, then put 2 more layers of gauze on the watermelon seeds, place in a warm place for maintenance, and be sure to keep the gauze moist.

3. Sowing Method

Wait until the watermelon seeds sprout and then plant them in the soil.
