How to transplant lucky bamboo

How to transplant lucky bamboo

1. Prepare the plants for transplanting

On top of it, there will be a knot on the leaves at a certain distance. At this time, you should pay attention to trimming it at the leaves and knots. First, use a knife to cut diagonally at the knot position. Note that the cut must be oblique, so that it can absorb more nutrients and the survival rate will be improved.

2. Handling the incision

After the transplanted plant is ready, its wound needs to be treated. We can apply potassium permanganate to the wound to prevent it from rotting.

3. Prepare the soil or water

After the incision is processed, we need to grow it in soil or hydroponically. If it is grown in soil, we must choose good soil, fine sand is best; if it is grown in hydroponically, the water must be clean, purified water and mineral water are best, which will be conducive to its survival.

4. Transplanting

When transplanting, if you grow it hydroponically, you can put it in water and change the water frequently. In addition, because it is easy to lack nutrients when growing hydroponically, we need to add some nutrient solution into it every once in a while, and then let it get enough light, so that it will take root after a period of time; if you grow it in soil, the soil is very important, and you should choose fine sand with good drainage, so that if you cut it in, it is easy to survive, but because it likes moisture, you should water it frequently and keep the soil in the pot moist. If this condition is not met, it will slow down its growth, and even if it survives, it will be difficult for it to take shape in a short time.
