How to propagate asparagus fern by cuttings

How to propagate asparagus fern by cuttings

1. Choose cuttings

When choosing branches for cuttings, be sure to choose branches with lush leaves. Use a knife to make a small cut on the trunk, then apply a layer of moss on it, and then place it in a moist and ventilated place.

2. Pruning of cutting branches

Leave the branches to be grafted for about 10 days, and a tumor-like knot will grow at the wound site. At this time, cut it off, leaving only two branches on the branch, and trim all the other branches.

3. Potting Maintenance

Fill a small cloth bag with moist soil, poke a hole in it, insert the cuttings into the bag and bury them in the flowerpot. Place it in a cool place, preferably in an environment of 20 to 30 degrees. It will take root in about a month.
