Can the roots of Flammulina velutipes regenerate?

1. Renewable

The roots of Enoki mushrooms can regenerate. The cut roots do not need to be thrown away. It only takes a few simple steps to make the roots grow again. Prepare a small bottle or plastic bag, put a piece of paper towel in it, wet the paper towel with soda water, put the cut roots on the paper towel, place it in a dark place where no sunlight can reach, and leave it quietly. New roots will grow in a few days.

2. Storage method

After cutting off the roots of the fresh enoki mushrooms you bought, regenerate the roots according to the above method. Soak the cut root part in diluted light salt water for a few minutes, take it out and drain it slowly so that it stops dripping. Then you can put it in the refrigerator for storage. It can be stored for about a week using this method, but in order to ensure a better taste, it is better to eat it early.
