Diseases and Pests of Goldenrod and Their Control

Diseases and their control of golden bracts

When cultivating golden bud flowers, some physiological diseases may sometimes occur, such as root rot and yellowing of leaves.

Root rot may be caused by improper maintenance. Too much watering during maintenance causes water accumulation in the soil, which then leads to root rot, severe root rot and affects growth.

Leaf yellowing mainly refers to the physiological yellowing of leaves and other diseases caused by improper fertilization when growing golden bud flowers. This means that when applying fertilizer, the fertilizer is accidentally splashed onto the leaves, causing them to become diseased, yellow, or have spots.

When cultivating golden bud flowers, they may also be harmed by powdery mildew. Powdery mildew usually occurs in winter, which is mostly caused by indoor cultivation, poor ventilation and improper humidity. When preventing and treating powdery mildew, you can wipe the affected area with alcohol and it will be effective after several times of continuous application.
