When watering roses, you should follow the principle of "don't water if the soil is not dry, and water thoroughly if it is completely dry". Simply put, if the surface of the soil in the flowerpot is dry to about 2 cm, you can water it. Keep watering until water seeps out from the bottom of the flowerpot.

2. Precautions

The best time to water roses is in the morning, because after watering in the morning, after a day of photosynthesis, the water in the potting soil evaporates faster, making it less likely to cause the potting soil to be over-wet. Try not to water the plant at night, because watering it at night can easily cause diseases and insect pests due to the soil in the pot being too wet and the residual water on the leaves failing to evaporate in time; if the flowerpot is small, the water may be consumed before evening, causing the plant to lack water in the afternoon.
