How to grow jasmine in autumn

How to grow jasmine in autumn

1. Provide sufficient sunlight

Jasmine itself likes the sun very much and must have sufficient light to grow healthily. In summer, because the light intensity is relatively high, it can meet its growth needs. However, after autumn, the light intensity weakens, so it should be placed in a place with direct sunlight. This is more conducive to growth.

2. Ensure adequate water

It prefers to grow in growing conditions with plenty of moisture. Therefore, when raising it in autumn, you should water it in time to ensure sufficient water supply so that it can grow better. However, do not water it too much, otherwise it will suffer from root rot due to waterlogging.

3. Apply appropriate amount of fertilizer

The beginning of autumn is the second half of its flowering period. At this time, its body has consumed a lot of nutrients due to flowering, and it will be in a state of nutrient deficiency. Therefore, you need to apply some flower fertilizer, about once every 7 days. This will help it bloom more flowers.

4. Cut off dead branches and flowers

After autumn, proper pruning should be carried out to help it maintain a good plant shape and prevent it from growing too tall. Specifically, it means to promptly cut off the overgrown, diseased branches and the remaining flowers that remain on the plant after they have withered.
