How to grow violets so they bloom more

How to grow violets so they bloom more

1. Choose the right soil

Soil is very important for plant growth. Although it does not have high requirements for soil, well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil is best. Also, be careful not to use acidic soil, otherwise it will affect its growth.

2. Control humidity

When watering, the amount of watering should be determined according to different seasons. If it is in winter or early spring, the temperature is lower and the watering frequency should not be too many. You must wait until the soil in the pot is dry before you can continue watering and keep the humidity at around 40%; in summer, the temperature is high and the weather is hot and humid, so you should water more and spray more water around it, and the humidity should be around 70%; in autumn, the weather is cool and watering should be gradually reduced.

3. Choose the right growth temperature

During its growth process, the temperature needs to be controlled well, with 15 to 18 degrees during the day and around 10 degrees at night being the best.

4. Choose the right lighting

Whether it will bloom more or not, light plays a decisive role. If it wants to bloom, it must have a certain amount of light, but it is not resistant to light. When the light exceeds the range it can withstand, it will begin to grow poorly. Therefore, before exposing it to light, you need to understand in detail the range of light it can withstand.

5. Appropriate fertilization

If it wants to bloom more, nutrition is essential, so during the growth period, you need to apply an appropriate amount of fertilizer, and then add a certain amount of phosphorus fertilizer before flowering, so that it can bloom more.
