Transformation of Dripping Guanyin from hydroponics to soil culture

Transformation of Dripping Guanyin from hydroponics to soil culture

1. Prepare the soil

If you want to convert the hydroponic weeping angel into soil culture, you first need to prepare the soil for soil culture. It is best to prepare soil that is rich in nutrients and has good air permeability and drainage capabilities, so that it can grow better. Before use, the soil needs to be heated and disinfected to prevent residual bacteria from affecting the growth of the plants.

2. Plant dehydration

Carefully take the hydroponic plant out of the water, then carefully check its root system and cut off the black rot parts. Afterwards, disinfect it using disinfectant. Then put it in a ventilated place to dry completely.

3. Start potting

Prepare a flower pot with good air permeability and pour half of the sterilized soil into the pot. Then place the plant in the pot and use the remaining soil to cover the roots of the plant. Be careful to keep the plant straight and not crooked, otherwise it will not only look ugly but also affect the amount of light it receives.

4. Post-maintenance

Plants that have just been repotted cannot be placed directly in strong light, but should be placed in semi-shaded area. After a period of time, the lighting time and intensity can be slightly increased. In addition, the soil in the pot needs to be kept moist and not too dry. After a period of time, new leaves will grow out, and then you can maintain it in the normal way.
