How to grow Milan potted plants

How to grow Milan potted plants

1. Breeding environment

1. Temperature: During the maintenance process of Milan potted plants, they should be kept at a growth temperature of 25-30℃. The temperature should be kept above 10℃ during wintering in the north.

2. Light: Milan needs sufficient light to grow, and the light time must be guaranteed to be more than 10 hours in all seasons.

3. Water: During the maintenance process, sufficient water is needed to keep the potting soil moist and avoid long-term drought. At the same time, care should be taken to prevent long-term waterlogging in the potting soil.

4. Fertilization: During the growth period of Milan, apply thin liquid fertilizer once a week.

2. Repotting

Repot Milan once every one to two years of maintenance to update the potting soil and rotten roots. Replacing the soil with new soil will allow it to grow normally. During the maintenance process, it can adjust its own shape. Individual overgrown branches should be pruned in time, and as it continues to grow, the inner branches should also be cleared in time to ensure ventilation and light.

3. Common pests and diseases

Milan may be harmed by red spider mites, scale insects, and aphids during the maintenance process. When these occur, it is necessary to ensure that it is in a light-transmitting and ventilated environment to effectively inhibit the occurrence of pests. If aphids occur, you can kill them by spraying them with imidacloprid or tobacco water; scale insects can be cleaned off with a toothbrush or a soft cloth; red spiders can be sprayed with acaricides, which can effectively control the pests.
