How to Propagate Lucky Bamboo in Large Scale

How to Propagate Lucky Bamboo in Large Scale

1. Cutting method

If you want to propagate lucky bamboo in large quantities, the best method is undoubtedly the cutting method. This propagation method is simple to operate, has low requirements for raw materials, and does not take a long time. It can quickly turn one lucky bamboo into multiple ones.

2. Specific

① Cutting time: It is best to carry out cuttings in spring, because the temperature and light conditions at this time are very conducive to the survival of new seedlings.

② Cut branches: Prepare a healthy and disease-free lucky bamboo, and then divide it into equal parts so that each section contains 2-3 nodes. If some small segments have many leaves after equal division, you can remove an appropriate amount of them and only keep 1-2 leaves. In addition, if some small segments have no leaves, you can also use cuttings normally, which will hardly affect the survival rate.

③ Soak the cuttings: In order to stimulate the cuttings to take root quickly, you can soak them in potassium permanganate solution for about 30 minutes, then take them out and put them in a cool place to wait for them to dry.

④Carry out cuttings: Insert the processed cuttings into the prepared soil in advance, then water them in time to maintain a certain humidity, and it will take root soon.
