Lychee, longan, and mangosteen are too expensive. The leftover kernels can be used to grow a large pot of lychee.

Lychee potted plants

1. Eat the lychee flesh and expose the core. 2. Clean the flesh at the lychee bud point.
3. Soak the litchi kernels in clean water for 3 to 7 days, changing the water once a day, otherwise they will easily become smelly in the summer. 4. Prepare a flowerpot, a relatively shallow one will do, mix nutrient soil and sand in a ratio of 4:1 and put it into the flowerpot. 5. Press the litchi seeds into the soil half or two-thirds of the way, making sure the buds face upwards. 6. Cover with a thin layer of soil, just enough to cover the litchi core, and then cover with a thin layer of pebbles to prevent the soil from being washed away when watering. 7. Water until water flows out of the small holes at the bottom. 8. In about a week, the seeds will germinate. 9. After a while, you can see the small potted plants.

Mangosteen potted plants

1. Eat the mangosteen and leave the core. However, there are very few mangosteen seeds, so you may have to eat several to get one.
2. Wash the fruit core and soak it in clean water. Change the water once a day. It will grow roots in about 2 weeks! 3. Prepare the nutrient soil, fill it into the flowerpot, and water it thoroughly. 4. Place the mangosteen with the bud point facing upwards and bury it in the soil. Then cover with a thin layer of soil and wet it with a spray bottle! 5. Place it in a place with scattered light and new shoots will grow after about 10 days!

5. Cover the longan with a thin layer of soil, then spray water with a watering can, and then put a layer of stones, a thin layer will do. 6. Place it in a cool and ventilated place for maintenance. It will take root and sprout in about a week! 7. After a period of time, you will get a lush small potted plant!
Have you thrown away the fruit core? If you haven’t thrown it away, try it now!
