How to grow a money tree in summer

How to grow a money tree in summer

1. Lighting

The money tree likes sunlight and needs sufficient light in the summer. When placing it, try to face the sun with its leaves. You can spray some water on the leaves every 3-5 days to make them more beautiful. It cannot be placed in a cool environment for a long time during maintenance.

2. Water

Do not water the money tree too much or too little. The amount of water should be appropriate. The soil in the pot should be kept moist without any accumulation of water. In spring and autumn, water is generally applied every 2-3 days. In summer, water evaporates quickly, so you can water every day depending on the situation. In winter, the temperature is relatively low, so you must control the amount of watering.

3. Temperature

The temperature for keeping money tree in summer should not be higher than 30℃. Too high temperature is not conducive to its growth. You can keep it in a cool place or spray water to cool it down. When the temperature is too low in winter, you should keep it warm and put it indoors for maintenance.

4. Fertilization

The money tree is in its growing season in summer and needs frequent fertilization to supplement nutrients. Generally, fully decomposed liquid fertilizer should be applied once every half a month. If the leaves of the plant are large, more nitrogen fertilizer can be applied. If the roots and stems of the plant are thin, more potassium fertilizer can be applied. Do not apply too much fertilizer, apply it in small amounts frequently.
