How to plant Zoysia grass

1. Planting method

1. Sowing method: Zoysia grass sowing is generally carried out in July and August. Before sowing, soak the seeds in sodium hydroxide solution for 1 day, then rinse them clean and dry them before sowing. It will germinate in about 10-13 days and the seedlings will grow in about 20 days.

2. Division method: Zoysia division is usually carried out from May to August. It needs to be dug out and the branches and vines separated. Plant it in the soil and it will be full grown in about 3-4 months.

2. Planting Management

After sowing, rake the soil, cover the surface with a layer of sawdust or compost, and then a layer of straw. Avoid direct sunlight, spray water appropriately after sowing to ensure humidity, and remove the covering after about 10 days.
