Ginseng is mostly distributed in eastern Liaoning, the eastern half of Jilin and eastern Heilongjiang. It has been introduced in Hebei, Shanxi and Shandong, and is also cultivated in the Soviet Union, North Korea and Japan.

Ginseng Planting Benefits

A lot of costs need to be invested in the early stage of ginseng planting. First of all, ginseng is very suitable for dense planting. 40,000-50,000 plants can be planted in one acre. The market price of ginseng seeds is about 1 yuan per grain. Therefore, the seed cost of planting one acre of ginseng is 50,000-60,000 yuan. Then add fertilizer, watering, land, labor and other expenses, the total cost is about 70,000-80,000 yuan.

Under normal management, one acre of ginseng can produce about 5,000 kilograms. If all of it is sold, the profit will be 50,000 to 100,000 yuan. Now that people's quality of life is getting better and better, the demand for ginseng is also increasing, so the prospects for planting are very promising.
