How to keep lilies alive

How to keep lilies alive

1. Plants grown in soil

(1) Temperature: The plant will survive only if the temperature is within the appropriate range. Specifically, the daytime range is between twenty-one and twenty-three degrees. At night it will be lower, ranging from fifteen to seventeen. The temperature should be above ten degrees in winter, otherwise you will easily catch a cold.

(2) Light: If the plants are kept in a dark environment for a long time, they will grow weakly or even die. Therefore, ensure soft lighting. The requirements are relatively high, preferably six hours a day.

(3) Watering: The soil must be moist. It is easy to die if it is too dry; it is also easy to die if there is too much water. Water only after the soil surface is dry.

(4) Soil: It must be acidic soil, with a pH of 5.5 to 6.5. Alkaline soil can easily cause the plant to die.

2. Plants grown in water

(1) Amount of water added: The water level should not be too full, otherwise the plant may die. The water surface only needs to be about three centimeters above the water absorption point.

(2) Change water: Change water regularly. If the water is not changed for a long time, the plant will easily die. There is no need to change it every day. In the summer, it happens about once every two days. In spring and autumn, it can be done every three to four days. In winter, you don't need to do it so frequently, maybe once a week is enough. In general, the higher the temperature, the greater the number of times. Do not use direct tap water.

(3) Pruning: Prune regularly. Make sure to replace the water absorption points so that the plants can absorb fresh water and nutrients. You don't need to cut too much, just about an inch at a time.
