If you want succulents to have bright colors, there must be a large enough temperature difference. However, the temperature difference is not very big for many flower lovers, so it has to be created artificially!

Steps:

1. Put the succulents in the refrigerator. It is best to use those varieties that are common and easy to reproduce, such as Huangli, Chihuahua, etc.

2. Set the refrigerator temperature to around 3-6°C, then put the succulents in a plastic bag. You can also choose not to put them in a bag and put them directly in the refrigerator.

3. After putting the succulents in the refrigerator overnight, take them out and place them in a cool and ventilated place indoors for a while, and then put them in the sun for exposure.

4. After one day of exposure to the sun, put the succulents into the refrigerator, and then repeat this cycle.

5. It only takes about half a month before you can see the succulents starting to show signs of improvement. As long as you persist, they will turn bright red one day!

Note: Some flower lovers have had success with the method of placing the flower in the refrigerator to increase the temperature difference, while others have failed. Please choose this method with caution.

Spray some ice water on the succulents and they will turn red!

For flower lovers who dare not try the above method, Huahua will teach you a safe method, which is to spray some ice water on the succulents at home, which can also achieve the effect of increasing the temperature difference!

Steps:

1. Leave tap water at room temperature for 1-2 days to remove the chlorine in the water, then put it in the refrigerator. After the water temperature continues to drop, take it out and pour it into a spray bottle, or directly put ice cubes into the water and let it melt naturally.

2. Put the succulents that have been exposed to the sun for a day indoors, and then spray them with ice water. Spray them once every evening, making sure every leaf of the succulent is sprayed each time.

3. It only takes about 1-2 weeks for the succulent leaves to turn bright red under a large enough temperature difference!

Spray some carrot water on succulents to make their colors more vivid!

Finally, Huahua will teach you a little trick to color succulents, which is to spray some carrot water!

Steps:

1. Go to the supermarket and buy a fresh carrot. Wash it, cut it into pieces, and then put it in a pot with hot water and cook it. Then take out the carrots and keep the remaining carrot juice for watering the succulents.

2. Put the carrot juice into a clean plastic bottle and seal it for fermentation. Open the lid to let it ventilate every 3-5 days. It will be fully fermented in about half a month.

3. Mix the decomposed carrot juice and clean water in a 1:1 ratio to make a solution. Put it in a spray bottle and spray it directly on the succulents. Spray it about once every 2-3 days. After using it 5 times, you can find that the green succulent leaves are gradually starting to change color!

Succulent plants need more sun to become more and more red!

In addition to the above tips, daily maintenance must also be paid attention to.

1. If you want your succulent plants to color quickly, you must expose them to more sunlight. If conditions permit, it is best to place them outdoors, or in a well-lit place such as a south balcony or south windowsill. The colors will be bright only if it is exposed to enough sun.

2. Pay attention to water control. It is just right to water the plants once every 7-10 days in spring, but don’t water them too much, otherwise the leaves will turn black and rot, and die in minutes. How can the plants be in good condition?

That’s all for today’s introduction to Huahua.

Dear flower lovers, hurry up and give it a try.

Try to grow bright red succulents as soon as possible!
