Wall-hitting 2.0 cutting method

Flower lovers who find it difficult to grow cuttings should never miss this opportunity. Huahua will now use roses as an example to explain to you in detail how to use the "Wall-Hitting Cutting Method 2.0"!

1. Prepare materials

Prepare some pure vermiculite, either coarse or fine, find a few clean disposable plastic cups, and finally find a shallow plate that can hold water.

2. Cut off the branches

Choose semi-lignified branches after flowering. The branches after flowering contain more nutrients. Cut them into small sections of 6-8 cm in length, retain 1-2 buds in each section, and place them in a cool and ventilated place to dry the wounds.

3. Poke a small hole in the bottom of a disposable cup

Hold a pair of pliers in your right hand, clamp a long nail with the pliers, and heat it over the fire until it turns red. Hold a disposable cup upside down in your left hand and poke 2-3 small holes in the bottom of the cup.

4. Soak the vermiculite in carbendazim

After poking a small hole in a disposable cup, put vermiculite into the cup, about 90% full, and immerse the entire cup in a carbendazim solution to sterilize and disinfect. Take it out after soaking for 1 hour.

5. Soak the branches in carbendazim

Soak the dried rose branches in a solution of carbendazim for 30 minutes and then take them out and place them in a ventilated place to dry the water on the branches.

6. Insert the branches into the vermiculite

After the moisture on the branches has dried, insert them into the vermiculite in a disposable cup, then put them in a shallow plate. Pour clean water into the shallow plate. The water level should be 1-2 cm high. Allow the vermiculite to absorb water and keep it moist.

7. Place it outdoors

Place the cuttings and the shallow tray outdoors. They can be placed under scattered light or in a sunny place, such as an outdoor south balcony. Pay attention to shade when the sun is strong at noon.

8. Water in time

When the water in the shallow dish becomes less, you need to add water in time and keep the water level at 1-2 cm to keep the vermiculite moist.

9. Cover with plastic bag for insulation

When the temperature is between 22 and 25 degrees, the cuttings are most likely to take root. If the temperature is not reached, you can find a transparent plastic bag to cover the rose branches to keep them warm and moist. Remember to poke two small holes in the plastic bag.

10. Rooting will take place after about 15 days

After 15 days, large white roots will grow on the rose branches. It is best not to pull out branches frequently to check the root growth to avoid damaging the tender roots.

11. After one month, the branches and leaves grow denser and denser.

Generally, after one month, the new leaves on the branches will grow more and more.

12. One month later, when the root system grows strong, transplant

When the roots grow thick and dense and have reached the bottom of the plastic cup, you can transplant the branches into the soil. This will increase the survival rate of the pots.

13. Plant in a pot

Mix leaf mold, river sand and fermented chicken manure, put them together in a pot, then plant the rose branches, water them thoroughly, place them under scattered light for 7 days, and then move them into the sun.

14. Apply fertilizer in time

Roses like fertilizer, so you can water them with some fermented rice water or cake fertilizer every half a month to make the roses grow rapidly and burst out of the pot!

This is the end of the introduction to the Wall-Bumping 2.0 cutting method.

Flower lovers, don't just look at it.
