1. Too much water or too little water is not good

The soil for planting osmanthus must have good air permeability, and it is very afraid of too much water. When caring for osmanthus, it is best not to water until the soil is dry, and be sure to water thoroughly each time. If you water too much, the roots of the osmanthus tree will turn black and rot, and the tips of the leaves will wither and then the entire leaf will gradually wither, turn yellow and die.

2. Light exposure is very important

Osmanthus is a plant that likes sunshine and cool areas. It needs 6 to 8 hours of sunlight every day, and the temperature of the area where it is planted should not be lower than 14℃. In late summer and early autumn, the temperature should be maintained at 24 to 28℃, and in winter, the temperature should be above 0℃ with wind.

1. The osmanthus tree should be placed in a room with sufficient light in winter. This way it can not only survive the winter safely, but also survive the dormant period steadily. The temperature should be controlled between 5 and 8 degrees Celsius, otherwise it will cause the buds and leaves to sprout earlier, resulting in a series of bad effects!

2. The most suitable temperature for growth should be between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius, and the flowering period is in the refreshing autumn. It is best to control the temperature between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. Below this temperature will cause the flowering period to be delayed, and above this temperature will advance the flowering period and shorten the flower viewing period.

4. Air circulation prevents illness

The smooth flow of air through the osmanthus tree not only increases the humidity around the potted plant, but also circulates the bacteria near the leaves through air, making it less susceptible to bacterial infection.

5. Get nutrition and strengthen your body

Osmanthus is also a delicate plant. A moment of negligence may make it sick. Normally, we can provide it with some potassium or decomposed breeding fertilizer to gradually improve its immunity and resist foreign pathogens, allowing it to thrive.
