The answer is: Yes. Moreover, the survival rate of reproduction using this method is relatively high.

2. Time

This method of reproduction is usually carried out in winter. In other words, we can use the branches that are going to be thrown away during pruning, so that there will be no waste. Alternatively, it can also be done in spring, but before germination.

3. Specific methods

1. Cutting and processing branches: Choose one-year-old branches with a length of ten to fifteen centimeters as materials. Next, remove the lower leaves, leaving only the top three or four leaves. Then, cut the lower part into a bevel.

2. Selection of substrate: In order to increase the survival rate of cuttings, we have to choose a suitable substrate. Generally speaking, for this kind of plant we can choose perlite or carefully screened river sand.

3. Insert into the substrate: First, use a small wooden stick to make some small holes in the substrate, and then insert the branches, about two-thirds of the entire branch. Then, spray it with water and place it in a low-light location to avoid being exposed to strong light. If it is a sunny day, you can spray water once a day; if it is cloudy, adjust according to the specific situation. In addition, the temperature should be maintained between fifteen and twenty-five degrees. After waiting for about half a month to a month, we can observe the root growth phenomenon.

4. Transplantation: After the roots grow, transplant it, water it thoroughly, and place it in a semi-shaded place. After a week, it can be seen in the light.
