How to grow jade tree fast

How to grow jade tree fast

1. Soil

It does not have very high requirements for soil, as long as it is fertile and loose, of course sandy soil is best.

2. Watering

Watering is a very important thing. When it grows faster, you need to water it every two or three days, but not too much. Of course, too little is not good either. In hotter days, you need to control the moisture and ventilation conditions, otherwise it will easily shed leaves. We can't water it frequently in winter. We need to control the amount of watering. It's fine if the soil is relatively dry.

3. Fertilization

Fertilization is very important for it. We need to add fertilizer when it grows. It is normal to apply it two or three times a month. We need to apply liquid fertilizer to it two or three times. If we want to change the soil or transplant it, we also need to add some fertilizer. Generally speaking, we cannot add too much fertilizer to it, otherwise it will grow too tall. In addition, we must pay attention to the fact that the fertilizer we add to it needs to be well-rotted, and some human and animal manure can also be given to it.

4. Lighting

It needs to be given a certain amount of light and shaded in the summer. It cannot be placed directly in the sun. In winter, it should be placed in a greenhouse or in a sunny place. In short, except for summer, it is best to put it in a place with sufficient sunlight.

5. Temperature

The temperature it likes is 20℃~30℃, so spring and autumn are the times when conditions are better for it, and it grows particularly fast during these two periods. Generally, if the temperature is higher than 38℃, its growth will be slower and it may even enter a dormant state. The temperature in winter should be above 7℃ and cannot be lower than 5℃. If it is below zero, it is very likely to freeze to death.

6. Pruning

As it grows, we can moderately prune those branches and leaves that grow faster, and if they are dense, we can also cut them off, so that it will grow more evenly.

7. Repotting

Repotting is also a way to make it grow faster. Generally, we need to change the pot every two or three years. When changing the pot, we need to sprinkle some fertilizer or hair on the bottom of the pot, and then we don’t need to fertilize frequently.
