What to do with dried leaves of Begonia

Too much watering

Although it likes moisture, you cannot water it too much, otherwise water will accumulate in the pot, which will cause the roots to be soaked in water for a long time and cause root rot. Or this phenomenon may also occur if the rainwater is not drained out in time after heavy rain.

At this time, we must immediately control watering and quickly move the pot to a ventilated place, and wait until its leaves regain their luster before we can maintain it normally.

If the root rot is too severe, you need to cut off the rotten roots, which will encourage new roots to grow. But if you encounter hot weather in summer, you can't water too little, otherwise the leaves will dry out. So watering depends on the situation.

Strong light exposure

It usually grows best in semi-shade conditions. If it encounters strong sunlight in the summer and you fail to provide shade for it in time, its leaves will be burned. At this time, we need to deal with it according to the situation. If the symptoms are mild, just move it to a ventilated place.

Insufficient light

Although it cannot be exposed to strong light, it cannot be exposed to insufficient light either, because too weak light will weaken the plant, resulting in fewer flowers and dry leaves. At this time, we must remember that except for appropriate shade in summer, it can be placed in a place with scattered light at other times, especially in winter, to ensure sufficient sunlight.

Improper fertilization

If you don't fertilize it in time when it is growing best, it will become malnourished and grow weakly, and its leaves will begin to dry out. Therefore, it is necessary to apply fertilizer to it in time. But you cannot apply too much fertilizer, especially in the summer when the temperature is high. You must control it because applying fertilizer at this time will cause fertilizer damage and the leaves will dry out. So stop fertilizing and add water to dilute it.
