Don’t throw away the sprouted ginger pieces. They are easier to grow than lucky bamboo. They are tall, green and edible!

Throw the ginger on the chopping board into a piece of soil, it is more beautiful than lucky bamboo

Steps:

1. Germination: Place the ginger in a dark place, cover it with sand, water it thoroughly, and then cover it with a layer of plastic wrap. The temperature in the pot will rise and it will germinate in a week. This step can be ignored for ginger that has already sprouted.

2. Take the raw ginger sprouts, put them in the soil with the sprouts facing up and the body facing down.

3. The flowerpot for planting ginger must have drainage holes, and the soil can be prepared by mixing garden soil and river sand in a ratio of 3:1.

4. After planting the ginger, water it thoroughly and place it in a ventilated place without direct sunlight. Keep the soil moist and water it every 3 to 5 days.

5. In about a month, the ginger will grow green leaves and then slowly grow taller.

6. Finally, the ginger we eat will grow like this and emit a faint fragrance!

Ginger is usually planted in spring and harvested in autumn. It is the best time to plant ginger around the Qingming Festival. If you want to eat your potted ginger in autumn, that is also possible.

How to turn one onion into two?

Are you waiting for the onions at home to rot because you can’t eat them? Don't do that! Today Huahua will teach you how to grow an onion potted plant, so that we can eat onions and onions!

Steps:

1. Cut off the bottom of the onion and place it in a cool and ventilated place to dry for 1 to 2 days.

2. Take a smaller flowerpot and fill it with two-thirds of soil. The soil can be prepared with peat soil and river sand in a 1:1 ratio, and then water it thoroughly.

3. Bury the bottom of the dried onion with the roots facing down in the soil, and then fill in the remaining one-third of the soil.

4. Place the flower pot in a ventilated place. The seedlings will break out of the soil in about a week. Then place it in a sunny place to promote the growth of the onion seedlings. When the soil becomes dry, just spray it with water using a small spray bottle.

5. The onion can grow into at least two onion seedlings. When it grows a little taller, you can remove it from the pot and divide it. Remove the onion seedlings from the pot and clean the soil around the roots.

6. Use a sterilized knife to separate the two plants, take two other flower pots, fill them with loose and breathable nutrient soil for cultivation.

7. Be sure to place the two new pots of onion seedlings in a sunny place and take good care of them. If they are dry, spray them with water using a spray bottle. The two pots of onions are done!
