How to make bougainvillea bloom more

1. Nutrients

If you want the flowers to bloom and bloom more, nutrients are naturally indispensable. The nutrients it stores itself cannot supply many flower buds, so we have to supplement some for it. Generally speaking, during the period from April to July, liquid fertilizer should be applied every one week to ten days. You can use fermented bean cake or rapeseed cake water. Human and animal waste can also be used. Starting from August, you will need to add some fertilizers rich in P elements, such as decomposed animal manure, etc. The frequency of adding this fertilizer should be controlled to once every ten days. However, be careful not to make the concentration too high. Otherwise, the roots may be easily burned.

2. Moisture

If you want it to bloom more, water is also essential. However, starting from September, water control is necessary. It won't last long, only about half a month. This doesn't mean not watering at all, but watering less. We need to judge whether to water by observing the condition of the plant. When you see the soil in the pot is dry and the branches and leaves are soft and drooping, you can water it. And, be sure to water it thoroughly. Generally speaking, the two principles to follow are "don't water unless the soil is dry" and "water thoroughly if you do water." Also, it is important to note that you should not apply fertilizer during the water control stage. Otherwise, the roots can easily be burned.
