How often should I water bougainvillea?

1. Differentiate by season

Spring and autumn: The temperature and environment are similar in these two seasons, and it grows very fast in these two seasons, so water it once a day;

Summer: The temperature is higher in this season, and the water loss is also greater, so it is necessary to water twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening to ensure that the plants have sufficient water;

Winter: This season is exactly the opposite of summer, but when growing plants, people will choose to maintain them indoors. The indoor temperature in the north is higher, so water needs to be replenished every 3 to 5 days, but when the maintenance temperature is lower, water only once every 5 to 8 days is enough; if it is in the south, the time for watering needs to be extended, and water only once every 10 days or so.

2. Differentiate by plant status

Before flower bud differentiation: When the flowering period is approaching, the watering interval can be extended to watering once every 2 to 3 days; but during this period, the leaves should be sprayed with water every day, 2 to 3 times a day. When watering at this time, make sure that water flows out from the bottom of the flowerpot at one time, but do not allow water to accumulate.

When it rains, you can stop watering; when watering, be careful not to allow water to accumulate.

When watering in summer, be sure not to choose to do it in the sun, and also avoid watering at noon.
