Saving the Money Tree

The name of the money tree has a pleasant meaning, but if the leaves turn yellow, the whole pot of flowers will look lifeless. Huahua will teach you how to save it!

1. If there are many yellow branches, but the roots are not rotten, you can directly shorten the branches, leaving only 4 to 5 cm above the potting soil.

2. After pruning, you can see changes in the money tree every day. It will sprout many new green leaves in about a month.

3. If there are still green leaves on the cut branches, do not waste them. Insert them into soil with good air permeability. Keep moist and away from direct sunlight.

4. In about 3 to 4 weeks, the leaves of the money tree will grow into spherical rhizomes and long roots, and then it can be transplanted into a larger pot. The survival rate is very high.

Saving Cyclamen

One of the most common problems encountered when growing cyclamen is root rot and black rot of the flower stems. You can try the following method to remedy it.

1. The main reason for cyclamen rot is excessive watering and poor ventilation. First, take the cyclamen out of the pot and place it in a ventilated place to dry.

2. Use a sterilized knife to cut off the rotten part of the bulb and apply some wood ash on the wound to prevent infection and make the wound heal faster.

3. After taking care of the roots, replant the cyclamen into the pot. It is best to replace it with new soil with good air permeability. It will soon fill the pot.

Saving Succulents

Succulents cannot tolerate waterlogging, otherwise the roots will easily rot. The leaves often attract insects, such as scale insects, root mealybugs, etc.

1. Remove all the leaves close to the roots, leaving only a few layers of tender leaves on the top, and cut off the rotten roots. Then soak the whole plant in carbendazim for 10 minutes, take it out and let it air dry for 1 to 2 days.

2. After the succulents are completely dry, they should be planted in new soil because the old soil contains germs and insect eggs.

3. After replanting, water less. You can resume normal maintenance after one month. Pay attention to ventilation and expose the plant to the sun frequently. New leaves will slowly grow.

That’s all about the tips for saving flowers.
