How to grow banyan trees well? How to grow them at home

Banyan trees are divided into ground-planted and potted plants. The former is potted plants. Although the potted plants are not large and do not grow into towering trees like ground-planted banyan trees, they are plants that like sunlight very much. They are basically under the sun every day and have no problem with exposure to the sun. However, they are not cold-resistant and need to be well protected. They can be pruned and tidied up from time to time.

Key points for banyan tree cultivation

1. Soil: Banyan trees need loose soil that is rich in organic matter and has good air permeability. Leaf mold and garden soil are best.

2. Light and temperature: Banyan trees require certain lighting conditions, with three hours of light per day. The temperature in spring and autumn is stable and suitable for cultivation.

3. Water: Banyan trees like a humid environment. When the temperature is high, you can water them three times a day to ensure that the soil is moist.

Banyan tree maintenance points

Banyan trees are suitable for warm and humid environments. When the weather is cold in winter, move the banyan tree to a warm indoor place for maintenance, and control the ambient temperature between fifteen and twenty-five degrees. Because banyan trees like the sun but are not resistant to the sun, too strong light will cause the plant to be sunburned, making the leaves of the banyan tree turn yellow and dry, so shade measures need to be taken for the banyan tree.

Fertilize according to the growth status of the banyan tree. During the banyan seedling period, it is necessary to apply decomposed organic fertilizer every two months. During the vigorous growth period, apply compound fertilizer once. Note that the location should preferably be a ventilated place outdoors.
