How to trim copper coin grass

How to trim copper coin grass

1. Leaf cutting

The first thing we need to do is cut off the leaves that are not growing well. After all, there is no use in keeping them and they take up space. Of course, we'd better not throw these leaves away. After all, we know that letting them rot in the soil can supplement nutrients. Dead leaves, which are comparable to fertilizers, can make it grow faster.

2. Weeding

Our goal is to make it grow better, not to make the grass grow better. Many times, the fact that it looks like it is growing better is actually an illusion because there may be a lot of weeds inside. So we have to remove the weeds inside and completely get rid of their roots so that they will not grow again.

3. Pinch branches

Pinching branches is extremely beneficial for it, because we can pinch off the long branches and let it grow in other pots, so we can easily get two pots of plants.

4. Shaving

First we need to find a better pair of scissors, then we find the place we want to cut and just cut it. Of course, if possible, we should not let the remaining stalks be too long, because it would not look good if they were too long and bare. It would look better if the stalks were about three centimeters long. Of course, we don’t have to worry about it not continuing to grow after cutting it off, because it grows very fast. We just need to strengthen its maintenance.

In addition, we can also add some fertilizer to it, because some of its underground stems can actually grow new buds, and the growth speed is unimaginably fast. Of course, we should not use fertilizers casually. It must be cooked. There is no need to pour rice water at home on it. If it is not done properly, it may turn its leaves yellow.
