What to do after jasmine blooms

What to do after jasmine blooms

1. Pruning

In June, it will bloom its early flowers. At this time, we can pick its flowers, and also remember to cut off the new leaves connected to the flowers, so that its new branches will grow better. After the third flowering, we need to remove the withered flowers and the dead branches so that new branches can grow.

2. Fertilizer

In early June, we provided it with light fertilizer water twice a week. During June and July, we need to apply thin fertilizer to it frequently, usually once every two days. The fertilizer needs to be organic and well-rotted, and water should account for 80% of the fertilizer. In addition, we need to do this operation in the evening.

In August, you need to apply fertilizer with a slightly higher concentration. Generally, water accounts for half of the fertilizer. This way, the flowers will be larger and more numerous. At the end of August, you don't need as much fertilizer. Apply it once every six or seven days. By September and October, you don't need it anymore.

3. Watering

Keep the soil moist in early June, water it once a day between June and July, and once every two days in late August. In the days that follow, you should gradually reduce the amount of watering, and by October you only need to keep the soil slightly moist.

4. Chemical substances

In early August, in order to promote better flowering, we can spray some calcium phosphate solution on the leaves, and we can apply some Zhuangdiling every time the buds bloom. In this way, the flowers will be more beautiful and the colors will be purer. In addition, the flowering time will be longer.
